Okay, I'm mildly confused.

If there's HOLES in the lid, wouldn't it take twice as long to boil because the hot air escapes through the holes? Then again, I didn't see the infomercial...

And if you lack the ability to pour pasta into a strainer - which I might add, I mastered at the age of seven - perhaps you shouldn't be cooking.
