Well, I was going to tell you that it may just be his age...at five my yougest just couldn't get into Harry Potter...by six he was ready. We've gone through all four books twice (once BEFORE the movies came out, once after) and ordered our fifth nearly the hour it was announced pre-sales were on. You have a signed first UK first edition! You have UK editions! I am soooo jealous. I'll have to get that CD for our vacation in June, sounds like just the ticket. Luv ya and all that. J.

That's quite a story. I remember when I was 12 reading the Lord of the Rings to my then-8-year-old sister. If you have ever read that book, the beginning is BORING!!! Traveling, traveling, traveling. But, she listened. I guess 8 can be a bit more patient. Then, after we saw LOTR in the theater last year, she came home and buzzed through the rest of the books, and the Hobbit. I dunno. Well written books into well written movies seems to work!
