Hey Sauce, I just wanted to say hello; your journal's been keeping me sane for the last few days--thanks!! I'm just finishing up college; I've got my senior exams on Wednesday and I'm just about losing my mind. Anyway, it's been great to be reminded of all the wonderful/crazy/horrible/fascinating things that can happen in the *real world*, outside of this bubble that is college. I do live in the LA area as well, but I'm only (soon to be) 23, which I imagine is probably too young for an old man like yourself. I gotta say, though, you've inspired me to not give up on the whole guy-thing. Again, thanks! And good luck! By the way--if the Grammys were so damn annoying--why didn't you just turn off the tv?! Additionally--about the au pair question (if you're still considering it)--i had a bunch of live-in babysitters when i was young, and though a couple weren't too fabulous, most were great! The best were either the youngish college students (always tons of fun), the crazy Danish one (totally nuts, but a great cook!), and the elderly grandma-type who loved me more than I probably deserved. Advice? Have them over, see how they interact with you and your kid. And ask your kid's opinion, definitely. Okay. it's 4:45 am. not absurd by college standards, but definitely not ideal. Goodnight!

what up sauce, seems that we both have some strong opinions on the grammys. then again i always have opinions on those award shows (all the same). keep up the hilarious shit! and make this damn rain go away! damn!
