DatKid is too cute! And, DatKid and I both had this on our lists: "Please may I learn how to use my alarm on my cd clock? Ill stay in bed to use it. We can make it for just after the crack of dawn." Well, except I didn't have that "crack of dawn" part on mine. Never, ever lose that notebook. It's priceless.

Aww, that brought back memories. I was a single mom. One year when my son was 11, I walked by his list of Christmas desires as he wrote. I saw it included stereo, walkman, CD's and an Atari. (yes, many moons ago) He saw the look of saddness on my face, knowing I couldn't afford anything on the list. He turned the paper over and showed me another list with underwear, t-shirts, socks. When I asked what it was all about, this sweet little kid just said, "The first list is for Dad. This one is for you. I know your list can't be too much cause you pay for rent and clotes and suff all year. Dad has more money." Out of the mouths of babes. You never realize how much they actually know about what goes on.
