The past couple of days I have very much enjoyed DaSauceVoice and the stories you tell in it. But having been shown the Thinking American behind DaSauce, I have to admit I'm sorely pressed to decide which writing style I admire more. In any case, I think you have balls for daring to speak against the Government, especially via a forum where Ashcroft the Witch-Hunter might hear you. :P I agree with what you've written concerning Saddam- his crimes cannot go unpunished, but the way Dubya is seeking to do so feels slimy and underhanded. We are becoming the kind of country the UN was formed to fight against.

You read "Stupid White Men" by Michael Moore didn't you? I just finished it, and you can imagine that my brain exploded. Not only do I not like politics, but I hate politicians. Oh happy day.

No, I haven't. I am sad to admit that I haven't found time for him since his attack on General Motors. He's quite a character and I really enjoy reading about his escapades and look forward to reading that or seeing Bowling, but time is precious as a full-time working/full-time-parenting/full-time-writing human.

No, definitely go YOU!! Thanks for so eloquently stating a lot of the things that have been swirling around in my head about this whole matter and much much more... This embarrassed Texan wholeheartedly agrees (and the S&L scandal was just the beginning of the things the idiot screwed up here)!! (Oh, and I highly recommend Bowling if you get a chance to see it!)

Well said, I couldn't come close to expressing my self about this topic as well as you've done. I agree with you 110%. Having served my country in the military as well, I am now, for the first time, afraid for this country and ashamed of our president. I do not even respect him enough to capitalize the word president.

Amen. If only I still had the patience to sit and order my thoughts that well these days. I can't seem to get past the brainlock of shock/anger/betrayal/outrage to do it, so man, THANK YOU for getting it done. Excellently. I may have to spring for the gold on free so that you can share some of that mojo there, too. In fact, I think I will. And I like that voice better than DaSauce's. It's easier for me to process, in my continually harried state these days. Excellent entry. Thanks. kd
