The way you describe it, I can feel the pride spilling into your words. Good job.

Isn't it amazing the things they can absorb? I wonder sometimes if all of the things I end up explaining actually settle in there, and then they'll drop-kick me with it at a later date.Pride, dad. In son and self.

Lilith was THE original feminist, and boy, did she ever have to get slapped down hard and fast. If you go around saying things like that about her, you'll get in trouble with all the fiesty gals around here who adore your dumb ass. Watch out she doesn't put a spell on you, Saucy-boy.

I have the Taj children's CD...theoretically it is for my children, when I actually break down and share it with them. I was raised on Taj. My parents had me singing "Fishin' Blues" when other small children were singing along with Sesame Street. My SmallAndWickedOnes love the blues too but their hands down favorites are Native American chants....then they can pull out Mommy's drums and percussion instruments and play along. And we all know how fun loud is.

She didn't mean to be, but was pleased at the results...

And I'm betting they knew the innuendo behind Fishing Blues as well? I don't quite see reason to explain that part to my son yet. But yeah. DaKiddo and I are music fans.

My parents fall into the Pretty Damn Cool category.they never minded if I unknowingly embarrassed them by belting out song lyrics at the top of my lungs somewhere Very Public. And I imagine I did it quite often, as I was fascinated with their old LP collection. Though I did eventually get all the history lessons as well...moreso of the Irish songs than any others, as that is The Music Of Our People. But Taj, while Obviously Not Irish, was a buddy of my moms back from Ye Oldde California Hippie Daze so he got special dispensation allowance into The Clan.
