I'm kinda jealous you get nominated fer all dat stuff. :) So we do disagree. Kinda sorta stringently. Ah well; big whup. :) One thing, though: don't you realize that a person is entitled to life until they're born? After they become old enough to actually form opinions, they're a goshdarned sinner and deserve to die. Get with the ProLife (Anti Choice) program, dude. Sheesh. ;) kd

I'd guess the reasons are sexist really. A hetero Only Parent male is an unusual commodity around these parts. I certainly don't believe it is talent related. Grin. As to the goshdarned sinner's? Some Joshua ben GOD-Guy did note according to many references that "He who is without sin shall cast the first stone." So, according to HIS particular tenets--the guy who is not a sinner is the only person who has the right to pull the switch. So there. Grin.

Go, RantBoy, go! Do random--or not-so-random--people really try to convert you to His Holiness over the Internet?! Damn! Dedication, much? Or shall we call it idiocy? Whee!

Yahoo is on the friggin' fritz yet again, so I am replying here... So it's entirely possible we could also come to an agreement on the death penalty thing, since it sounds like you're not totally against it, just the grounds by which it's handed out... If I could be guaranteed the asshole who kidnaps, rapes and kills a small child would spend the rest of his life in hell, I'd go for the prison thing, probably. It's stubborn as hell, but I would rather spend my tax dollars and executing his ass than feeding and clothing and giving cable tv, no matter how much more it might cost me to kill him. It's a matter of principle. I just don't want to spend a penny on keeping him alive, let alone entertaining or educating his ass. But then, I also say when there's a riot, if there are no guards caught in it, let them kill themselves. Oh, you lit your cellblock on fire? Too bad for you. I guess that's not nice, because the poor schmo who jacked a car doesn't deserve to roast just because some psychotic asshole lit the place up, but really, I have not got a lot of sympathy for anyone who commits a crime and winds up there. I'm especially tired of the abuse excuse. My dad whopped the tar out of us every single friggin' day, and I've yet to knock over a convenience store or jack a car, let alone kill someone for fitty measley bucks. But then, clearly that's just me. I dunno. Maybe my tolerance levels could use a little boost. kd

Congrats on your nomination:) I am not a Death Penalty fan either, and I am also not a fan of abortion -- I think the two go hand in hand. If I am against killing an adult -- then I of course am against the killing of a fetus. Just my slant on things. But I was one of the few in Dland that supported to war. So go figure. And yes, I am a conserative, fiscally that is. And tag you're it!
