That piece of advice was from Lorrie, and I swear I'll never forget it as long as I live. Words to live by. I'm trolling for shiny happy mofos. LOL

In a nutshell? Confident yet modest. Sooo attractive. But on a different front, I am wondering about your feelings regaring a certain Howard Dean, you being from Vermont and all, and he being the Only major candidate to have come out against the war (as well as suggesting a bunch of pretty groovy stuff, besides.) I've heard he was actually quite a centrist as a governor. Were you around while he was there, and what do you think? Does he have a shot? Is he a good guy, but also somebody who can pull it off? My mom heard him speak and got so excited; she said "He's like the next RFK!" Thoughts?

I know perfectly well what went wrong. Your absolute refusal to talk to ME as YOU. A secure and happy female human would never be afraid to tell you when you were being a shitheadbut would also not be terrified of figuring out solutions to the WHY you were being crappy. I do not know the solutions, but the only reason I can think of, apart from a love of simply playing games, is that you are afraid of being spied on. Well, you ain't, I ain't and anyway there is no secret. So there. And yes, I am in tell-the-whole-world-to-fuck-off mode. I love the flames. Couldn't have done better meself.

P.S. And all this arises out of a lack of proper communication?

The incredibly obscure and dare I say it (slightly-driven woman) above is quite a unit. I nearly deleted her comments, but I figure if I do that then the nutters in the world win. She persists in believing that I am someone I am not. This is the gal who was featured in the entry: http://dasauce.diaryland.com/Git.html I continue to be amazed at her dogged determination to figure out why I won't talk to her as someone I am NOT EVEN SURE EXIST, muchless me? Gotta love the 'net folks. It brings in the whole kit and caboodle.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad you are a good dad and everything, but I'm not harboring a "cool hetero daddy crush". I pop in and out to your journal because of your writing style....sometiems difficult to understand but always interesting and challenging. And being required to use my brain is a good thing. Oh, and three words on McDonalds. One is: ICK The other two are: Preventative Pepto.

I had a fantastic dad. I think my problem with my exes is that they weren't enough like him! hehe. Anyway, about Vermont-- why can't you take a week's vacay and head up there yourself, maybe instead of popping into FL? Not that I don't want to harass you when you are in my neck of the woods, but VT in the summer is hell's bells better than FL. Also, I was just talking to someone about the Gay/Lesbian laws in Vermont. Fucking amazing that there exists a place where humans actually have human rights, you know? Down here, I campaign a LOT for lesbian/gay/trans rights and inevitably I get called "lesbian cunt" and other such things. because obviously, since I want them to have what is their right as a sentient being, I am also gay and therefore vile. I don't understand it, but I adore VT's government for using their brains rather than farting them out their asses like so many others in the country.

Cheers to Vermont! If two people share the same residence, have a commitment and Care about each other, they should be allowed to marry and be afforded all the same rights and drawbacks as everyone else. Gender should not play a part in it.
